Patient: Mr. K.
Chief Complaint: White, vesicular eruptions in the buccal cavity with bluish-white discoloration of the tongue and buccal mucosa for the past one year. The patient also complained of dryness of mouth with stitching and burning pain in the buccal cavity, aggravated by spicy food, sweets, and chocolates. Mental and Emotional State: The patient is highly irritable and dominating by nature. He becomes angry over small matters and speaks directly to others without hesitation. He likes things done according to his wishes and can be quarrelsome but cools down quickly. If involved in controversy, he avoids the person thereafter, even if it’s his superior. He has a strong sense of justice and will revolt against unfairness. He enjoys listening to music and reading. He is impulsive, always in a hurry, and occasionally abusive in speech. Takes time to mix with people. Experiences fear of heights, anticipatory anxiety, and anxiety about health.
Prescription and Follow-Up: Homeopathic medicines were prescribed based on the totality of symptoms. Over time, the burning sensation of the tongue and buccal cavity improved by approximately 70%, and the use of Lyderm was gradually tapered off and stopped completely.
